A meeting summarizer does not necessarily do the same job as a tool that shows a line during an objection. Choose by the label AI for sales and you may buy a call archive when your closer needs on-screen support. This comparison separates those jobs and the prices each provider actually publishes.
I am Mauricio Gallmur, the creator of Closy. This is not an independent review or a hands-on test of every product: it uses official vendor pages. I do not claim sales lifts, customer outcomes, or features I could not verify.
Sources and prices reviewed on September 30, 2026, Lima time. Prices may change; confirm taxes, currency, contract terms, and implementation before buying.
| Tool | Job it does | Official price | Limits and requirements | Sources |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Closy, app | Live guidance: a line on screen during the call, with no bot joining the meeting. | NO PUBLIC PRICE VERIFIED: supervised pilot. | Confirmed setup: Mac, Spanish, and Zoom, Meet or Teams on the computer. It is not a recording archive. | gallmur.com/closy/ gallmur.com/en/closy/ |
| Closy, plugin | Support inside ChatGPT or Claude. It is not the application that listens to the call. | Free for your own work under the plugin license; does not include a ChatGPT or Claude subscription. | Usage-only license: no copying, redistribution, or creating a competing product. The plugin itself does not record, store, or send calls. | gallmur.com/terminos/ |
| Balto | Agent Assist and live guidance for contact centers, plus QA and coaching. | Custom quote. Published model: per agent per month; pricing bands are shared during evaluation. | Confirm telephony integration, modules, seat minimums, and implementation cost. No public amount is verified here. | balto.ai/compare/balto-vs-observe-ai/ balto.ai/ |
| Fathom | Meeting recording, transcription, and summaries; team and CRM features vary by plan. | USD per user: Free $0; Premium $20/month or $16/month billed annually; Team $19/month or $15/month annually; Business $34/month or $25/month annually. Team and Business: 2-user minimum. Enterprise: custom quote. | The page offers bot and bot-free capture, with bot-free capture in beta for Mac. Recording or summarizing does not establish that it gives live closing responses. | fathom.video/pricing |
| Gong | Conversation and revenue intelligence for reviewing calls, deals, and sales activity. | Custom quote: per-user licenses plus a platform fee based on the number of supported users. | Do not present a third-party estimate as an official price. Request the total cost of licenses, platform, modules, and contract term. | gong.io/pricing gong.io/ |
| Hyperbound | Practice: AI sales roleplays. Perform: real-call scoring and deal coaching. | Free: $0, with 45 prebuilt roleplays according to the provider. Practice and Perform: custom quote, with separate per-user licenses. | Its current table also lists Live Call Coaching as a Perform add-on. Price and availability for your setup are not verified; confirm with the vendor. | hyperbound.ai/pricing |
NOT VERIFIED: public price for the Closy app; paid-plan amounts and contractual seat minimums for Balto, Gong, and Hyperbound; implementation and total costs; Live Call Coaching add-on price; immediate public availability of the Closy plugin; Closy support for Windows or English calls. No estimates replace these gaps.
For a line while the prospect is speaking, start with live-guidance tools. Closy presents that use for its confirmed Mac and Spanish pilot. Balto publishes Agent Assist for contact centers. Check the actual integration with your calling setup before comparing them.
For an accurate record and less documentation work, review Fathom. For a team that needs to connect conversations with deals and sales activity, evaluate Gong and the relevant modules of each platform.
For practice before speaking with a prospect, Hyperbound Practice serves that job. Its current offer also includes Perform for real calls and a live-coaching add-on. Do not reduce it to a simulator or assume the add-on is included.
The plugin license permits free use for your own work, including professional work. It does not transfer ownership or allow copying, redistribution, or building a competing product. Host-service costs are separate.
The plugin itself does not record, store, or send calls. If you paste a transcript into ChatGPT or Claude, that content is governed by the host's terms. The Closy app listens to calls to provide live guidance and has a different data flow, covered by its privacy policy.
Free for your own work describes the plugin license, not the app's price. It also does not establish that every account has immediate access to a public installation. Check availability and requirements with Closy.
Fathom's annual figures are monthly equivalents per user with annual billing, not cancel-anytime monthly prices. Team and Business require at least two users. The table separates both billing options.
Balto, Gong, and Hyperbound's enterprise plans do not publish a purchasable amount here. Custom quote does not mean expensive or cheap: it means there is no public price I can honestly cite. Gong also states a platform fee in addition to licenses.
Ask the quote to separate seats, modules, implementation, renewals, contract term, and usage limits. Do not turn one vendor's mention of a competitor into that vendor's price.
Use a test conversation without real prospect data. Check whether the closer can listen, read, and speak without losing the thread. An on-screen answer that arrives at the wrong time does not help merely because it is visible.
Review consent, recording, retention, administrator access, and providers that receive content. No meeting bot does not mean no audio processing. A plugin without sending functions also does not remove the host's processing of anything you share with ChatGPT or Claude.
For practice, request a scenario relevant to your offer and check whether feedback explains what the closer said and what should change. For call review, verify that an observation can be traced to the conversation. None of these checks guarantees sales.
For a closer who needs in-call support, review Closy's pilot and requirements first. For a contact-center operation, compare Balto and its integrations. For recording and documentation, Fathom has public prices you can budget. For sales-team intelligence, request a full proposal from Gong. For practice, start with Hyperbound Practice and distinguish Perform's modules.
Do not buy a tool to fix an offer that does not fit or a promise you cannot deliver. The closer remains responsible for what they promise. The right purchase depends on the job, not a universal ranking.
